Emotional Clearing work focuses on repairing the damage from childhood, trauma, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Emotions are the "feelings" we have within our bodies when we are happy, sad, angry, fear, surprise, pride, guilt, shame, and contempt. There are many types of emotions and feelings we may have. As children we use our emotions to express our needs to our caretakers, and sometimes when those needs are not being met during specific developmental stages in our childhood. These unmet needs can then carry over into the next developmental stages. These feelings or emotions are commonly repressed as we grow older, however they lie within our subconscious minds and can have direct effects on our behavior in daily life. These repressed feelings can manifest in many ways, some of which are; complexes, behavior disorders, addictions, and can create negative inner voices. These underlying repressed emotions can drain out the ability to be creative and intimate. This is when we see that our reactions in some situations are not appropriate to the environment and we become "reactive". For example if someone had continually been ignored when they expressed needs as a child they then may find that in adult life they can become triggered when someone is ignoring their needs. They may have a "reactive response" by becoming defensive, accusatory, and or manipulative. This person somehow adapted as a child to meet their own needs whether that be by guilt tripping people, making a scene or having to manipulate others to get what they need. Emotional clearing can go back to the instant this problem started and bring clarity to the client as to how it all started and then through hypnosis we can change these core ideas and adaptations we have learned in our early years.
It theorized that stuck energy and or our repressed emotions can manifest as illness or disease in our bodies. So many times when clients do emotional clearing hypnotherapy they feel it in their bodies as they re-visit the underlying cause. They tend to also feel a great release of this tension and or pain once they begin to make changes in their subconscious. It can be a very freeing experience once you have completed a session with emotional clearing. As scary as some memories may be to re-visit, it is always the job of the therapist to reassure the safety of the client and bring in any resources they may need to confront a situation. There are also tools to help those that need more emotional separation from re-living memories that have intense emotions. This then allows the work to be done without the client having to "re-experience" the past trauma. I feel that emotional clearing work helped me to reach a deeper and more lasting change within my psyche than any traditional therapy could have done. If you are someone who is wanting to do self-improvement on any level, this is the best way to go. Everyone has some emotional clearing they could do and it is some of the most healing work out there.
